“ The pupil dilates in darkness and in the end finds light, just as the soul dilates in misfortune and in the end finds God. ”

We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
Remember, darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good.
There is nothing greater than love- God's quality of attraction and unity that is manifested in the soul of every being.
